Sprinters are fast. But are they faster than other athletes? This video uses motion capture technology in analyzing and comparing speeds of Spanish sprinter Angel Rodriguez and soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. Although both athletes demonstrate superior speeds, their different running styles distinguishes them apart.
The video also demonstrates that “fast” isn’t just dependent on athletic capability. Other factors such as course type, distance and training have to be taken into consideration as well.
